The Lakelanders are a group of gryfons who once were part of the Aesir, but the separated from the Aesir of the Dawn Spire and now form a distinct group. Attempts to re-join the the prides have been made.

Lakelanders are similar to the Aesir of the Dawn Spire but have slightly different features. They are built stronger than the Aesir are and are usually larger than them.

Most Lakelanders are shown to be a bit arrogant like their Aesir cousins, but not all are. They are prideful and always wish to win.
