Lapu is a Boar which in The Song of the Summer King was killed by Kjorn during The Hunt.

Song of the Summer King[]
Lapu was the main prey for Shard's initation hunt and was known for being old and ferocious. Rashard drove him into the Silver Isle forest where he met Catori . Catori told Shard Lapu's name and how to kill him. She also told him earth words to say to Lapu before he dies so that he'll die peacefully.
With the help of the other gryfons, Shard and Kjorn slayed Lapu. Kjorn gave the killing stroke.
Skyfire[]
Even though Lapu died before, his sons tried to avenge his death by trying to kill Kjorn. The wolves intervened and killed one of the sons to save Kjorn.
